Pool Day!

New York

We were so lucky to be able to make a trip to New York this summer. We only live 3.5 hours away so we were able to stay a couple days and see all the sites. Our good friends the Dials were able to go with us and we had a blast. We stayed with my aunt Mary who has an amazing flat directly across the street from Central park in Manhattan. Their view is absolutely AMAZING! We tried to get pics but my camera was acting up so it was a failure :( We took a ton of other pics of our time there so here they are...

I have a ton more pictures but they won't upload. I will try again later. We also went to Dylans candy store (3 levels of heaven). Then to Serendipity and had some frozen hot chocolate. There was an hour wait so we put our names in and walked to the new huge Apple store by FAO Schwartz. Probably the BEST day ever!

Ocean City MD

These 2 pictures are the views from each side of where we stayed on the beach. There was a boardwalk just a few blocks down. The shore was covered with umbrellas because they rented them out there on the beach.

Khloe loves the beach she went with us to Cancun 6 months ago, but this time she was old enough to enjoy the sand & water.

Everytime we sat down together the waves kept getting higher & higher. We kept getting hit by the waves and having to move back! She didn't mind at all!

Mt. Vernon

A couple weeks ago we made a trip to Mt. Vernon in Virginia to see George Washington's mansion he lived in while in office. It was fun to learn more about one of our great presidents. I wasn't able to take pictures of inside the house but many of the walls were painted really bright blues and greens, I would have never guessed. Here are some shots of the outside of the mansion.

Confession...

Well I have to admit I was pretty excited to see Eclipse. The main reason why was because Derr was just as excited about it as I was.. he he! Our group was pretty big so we went a little early and reserved 2 rows of seats. I'm not a die hard fan but I definitely enjoyed the evening and it was my favorite Twilight movie so far!

Walk-a, Walk-a, Walk-a!

Yay!!! Khloe has finally decided to take her first steps on her own! She will be 11 months on the 5th, so I can still say she started walking at 10 months haha! I am so proud of her, she is so cute when she does it because she gets so excited and then claps her hands when she sits down. She still needs a little more practice but soon she will be running around like crazy! It's so fun to watch these beautiful babies grow and figure things out for themselves.. It's truly amazing! I have a couple videos of her and will post them soon!
